Top 5 Tallest People Ever

2 min read

If you’re anything like me, then you had almost every copy of the Guinness Book of World Records that was made during your childhood. You needed the next year’s copy as soon as possible (even though you had no idea when they were released, but they had to have been released around Christmas, because that’s when they would show up) and never threw out the old copies. It was important to have as many of the books around as possible.

Whether or not that was how you grew up, I’m going to pretend you did and talk to you as if it’s true.

After making sure that the old black and white picture of the fat twins riding motorcycle was still there, you needed to head to the tallest people. It had to be confirmed that Robert Wadlow was still listed as almost 9 feet tall. Luckily, he seemed to have continued to hold that position for the length of my childhood. I would even assume that he’s continued to hold that title, since I’m sure someone being 9 feet tall would be worldwide news. People love looking at others with uniqueness to them. After all, isn’t it cool to see something that’s not as boring as the regular stuff?

Robert might have been the tallest, but there were others. If only there was a way to find out who was second tallest. That would be cool to know. Maybe even who was third, fourth, or even fifth tallest! That would be wild to know. Oh well. Maybe one day they’ll include that stuff in the Guinness Book of World Records along side the tallest. Until then, I guess we’re left trying to figure it out on our own.
