More Evidence the Moon is Made of Cheese?

We’re in the future, and the future is awesome. Well, some parts of it are. We’re doing some really kickass science stuff right now, along with some really kick ass observing. That’s just some of the kick ass awesome stuff humans are doing.

This gif right here demonstrates that awesome kickass stuff and it’s so freakin’ cool that I felt I needed to bring it here in a post. I can’t stop watching it.

It’s the full rotation of the moon (including the dark side we never see) as captured by NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter. You can see details we’ve never really seen before. I mean, there are pictures out there, but nothing ever like this. Although, I’m sure it’s old and only new to me, maybe it’s new to you, too. Even if it isn’t, it’s worth watching again. I know this for a fact because I’ve already watched it too many times, yet I’m not bored of it at all.
