Trust. Trust is a basic element of humanity. It, however, is not given out for free.
Real trust is built from the ground up. Never bought, because that’s impossible. Loyalty is the same. You can’t trust these fools to be loyal when there’s no reason. Both of these are only achieved through openness and time. You can’t trust someone with all your heart immediately, and you can definitely not expect a person to be loyal after the first few meetings. You need time to build a relationship.
HOWEVER, just because there’s a relationship, doesn’t mean the lying sack of crap won’t eat the last of something you bought for yourself, just because it’s in the fridge and they’re hungry. The stupid jackass.
