People suck. We all know that. It’s something we all have to deal with. Sometimes we’re even the ones that suck. It’s hard to admit, but it’s totally true. The worst part about it is that we all get defensive and angry when someone calls us on it. Then we get into fights we shouldn’t. Normally that’s how road rage starts. I should make a note that this only applies to you guys. Personally, I’m always calm, and pretty much the best fuckin’ driver you’ve ever seen. On top of all this, I’m extremely humble. Maybe the most humble person in the world.
Back to people sucking. Today’s lesson is based on a true event where I was driving down a residential street and encountered a couple of cars stopped in the middle of the road, blocking it completely, while the owners of the cars were out of the cars and talking to each other. They saw me coming from far away, but didn’t even attempt to start to clear the road until I was already there sitting in the middle of the road. Even then, they didn’t move with any sense of “I’m being an asshole”, they slowly moved towards the car get to in. It was a classic example of the stereotype about people in Los Angeles being selfish and egocentric. There are a lot of us that aren’t like this, but once you run into one of these special snowflakes it gets you boiling mad, as you should be.
Long story short, people suck. Special snowflakes suck. Selfish people suck. Egocentric people suck. And most of all, I do not/am humble.
