When the rain has come and the roads are nice and slick, it’s the perfect time to try to “get in on” a light and fail, then sit in the middle of the intersection. It’s not like any of the other drivers on the road are upset with the time it’s taking them to get home anyway. People are loving the traffic and are totally accepting of a person sitting in the way, especially in a driving heavy city like Los Angeles.
Now I haven’t lived in many different locations, so I’m not sure if that’s how everyone reacts, but it’s most definitely how Los Angeles reacts. Everyone in the city always reacts with kindness, especially me. I’m always out there waving and smiling. If it’s different in your city or town, let me know, because I’m curious.
