Driving a small car is dangerous these days. All the large vans, trucks, and buses around make you feel even smaller, and you never, ever feel visible.
This is why you might see small sports cars driving a little bit faster than other cars. It’s not because everyone is trying to show off (sure, some are), but it’s more to make sure you’re in front of people and visible. If you aren’t driving ahead of people and making sure you’re visible to other drivers, then things like this can happen. Sometimes much worse.
To help avoid these situations, might as well make sure you keep your eyes open for cars all around you when you’re diving. Whether you drive something really small, really big, or just “normal” sized. You never know what’s pulled up next to you.
