If you’re driving and you’re worried that someone is going to turn left in front of you, because you plan on running the red light, don’t worry. There is a way to get around this.
I encountered this one day while driving through the great city of Los Angeles. Blocks away from the mansion where Marvin Gaye was killed by his father, I was waiting to turn left at a stop light. Not only was I waiting, but another person was also waiting in front of me. To set the stage you need to know something. When turning left at an intersection in Los Angeles, you do not go until the light is either yellow or red. That’s just how it is. You can complain, but it’s no use. Everyone treats it the same. Do it in front of cops, they’ll nod.
As I continue to wait, the light changes to yellow and the car in front of me is able to turn through the clear enough intersection. Since the light was now turning red, I moved forward to join the left turn club and actually get out of the intersection. That’s when I was shown by another driver how to easily run a red light without having to worry about anyone not seeing you. All you have to do is simply flash your lights and wave. Even if it’s during the day in the bright as shit sun of Southern California and you’re not visible to the other people driving because of it. Don’t worry about that. You’ve done your part. You flashed your beams, then gave them the ol’ wave. You did perfect.
Check it out, it really works!
